I love this plugin; I found it after having a horrible time getting my menu to work x-browser and x-platform!

I tweaked the style easily enough and it’s perfect…except…

We are using several “placeholder” tabs in the menu. They are custom links with no actual link; i.e. “#”.

For mobile devices this gets a little confusing since they appear in the dropdown list. Is there a way to hide these options?

    Hi there,

Thanks for the kind words on the plugin 🙂

This is a great question! I’d never considered that before. . .

There’s no fix in place right now, but that’s something I will definitely add in the next release.

In the meantime, you could implement some super simple jQuery that removes all options in the <select> element that have value set to “#”. Just make sure this jQuery runs after the plugin jQuery (you could use jQuery(window).load() ).

Stay tuned for an update soon.

I’m not really familiar with jQuery. I tried looking for some little snippet that I could use but didn’t find anything so I thought I’d go to the source.

I will definitely stay tuned! Thanks for the quick reply.

As per your request, this feature is now added in v1.2, which I just released.

Thanks for the great suggestion, and please let me know if you have any further feedback 🙂

Thanks for the amazing turnaround! You totally rock!!
