    Hi,
is there a native way in WP to easily hide menu entries that I don’t want to show at the moment to all users of the page, without having to remove them? Alternatively what plugins do this? I found one which is called “Menu Item Visibility Control”, are there other similar ones?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

For that, build your own menu at Appearance > Menus in your site’s Dashboard: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide

Well, you said you want to remove pages from your menu without deleting them, or at least that’s what I understood.

So, to do that, just build your own menu following the guide above and simply don’t include those pages in it.

Ah yes, I understand that. What I recommend is building the menu yourself _without_ those entries, then adding them in when you’re ready to.

The thing is that I had built the whole menu already and wanted to avoid having to remove parts and putting them on again at a later time (double work). That’s why I am looking for a way to just hide the menus

In the old days, you could build some custom code that injected all pages into the menus and then add some filters to exclude specific page IDs. I quickly checked through https://developer.wordpress.org/ and that no longer appears possible. Either way though, remove the pages from the custom menu and adding them back when they’re ready would be 1000x easier.
