  • Our website is http://www.eastsidelalifestyle.com/

    I am using a theme called Linen by The themefoundry.

    We are only trying to specifically hide one page H1 title. “Posts from the ‘Blogs’ Category”. http://www.eastsidelalifestyle.com/category/blogs/, I tried all the solutions on this section and none of it work so far. I tried removing the title from the page.php by removing <h1 class=”pagetitle”><?php the_title(); ?></h1>. This removed all the titles except that one. Any suggestions would really help. I will give access to admin if needed.

    Regards,

    Benny

  • In your theme folder open index.php and archive.php (if it exists). Change <h1 class="pagetitle"><?php the_title(); ?></h1> to:

    <?php if(!is_front_page()) : ?><h1 class="pagetitle"><?php the_title(); ?></h1><?php endif; ?>

    This checks to see if the page being displayed is the front page and, if it isn’t, will display the H1. If it is the front page it leaves it out and carries on.
