Hiding header on specific page or post

Wanting to not display the header navigation on a particular page. I realize there are several threads for this topic and I’ve tried the advice offered to no avail- including:

Your theme is not added the proper classes to the body tag. It shows just
<body>. Contact your theme’s developer about this.It should be
<body <?php body_class(); ?>>See https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/body_class/
