  • if you have front-page.php, just delete a line under <div class=”postContent”> that says the_title();
    If not, check what is the id of your home page (go to dashboard/pages/all pages/roll over the title of a front page and in the lower left corner you will see ?post=2). In my case, 2 is the id of a front page.
    Than in your page.php find the line that has the_title(); in it, under poctContent class div and change it to

    if ( !is_page( '2' ) ) {
    		the_title('<h2>', '</h2>');

    Hi zex2911 — Thank you for replying. Turns out that all I needed to do was delete this line:

    <h2 class="entry-title"><?php the_title(); ?></h2>
