Support » Plugin: Dynamic Conditions » Hide when shortcode doesn’t output anything?

  • Hi. We’ve almost completed the build of a site for a student property company using Elementor and Property Hive. The latter is a property plugin that creates a custom post type ‘property’ with a whole bunch of property-related fields. It also allows you to create custom fields. We have created custom fields in Property Hive which have associated shortcode in order to output their content into a single property page via a page template we’ve created. We created these in order to be able to output a youtube property tour video and a matterport ‘virtual tour’. Using custom shortcode in the page template, these now output the associated videos/tours in the property page which is great except that a few properties don’t have anything in those fields – they have no video or virtual tour yet and for these properties, I’d like to hide those fields as they look bad with nothing in them. Ideally, we would hide those fields when the shortcode has nothing to output. Are we able to create a Dynamic Tag that would enable this? Thanks, Jamie

    Hi @morphpr,

You could select the DynamicTag shortcode and enter the shortcode for your field there. And then check whether it is empty.
