 * Hello,
 * Thanks for the great plugin.. I am facing couple of issues
 * 1. I have added the shortcode to a post and when I refresh the post, for 1 second
   I see the stars showing vertically and then it corrects itself and stars will
   be aligned horizontally..how can I fix this issue?
    2. I would like to show average
   rating, but do not want to show vote count.how can I achieve that?

 * Hi [@telugubulletin](https://wordpress.org/support/users/telugubulletin/),
 * to only show average rating you can put something like “Average rating is {{avgrating}}”
   in the Customize -> Custom Results Text. As for the first, it’s probably because
   your theme applies such style to ul first and then it’s overwritten by the plugin.
   You could try fixing that by applying the style in the head of your website.

 * [@telugubulletin](https://wordpress.org/support/users/telugubulletin/),
 * have you cleared the cache after installing the plugin? The plugin’s js and css
   is not loaded and if all works fine when you are logged in it might very well
   be an issue with cache (you probably have “don’t cache for logged in users” enabled).
   So, clear cache and if the problem persists I’ll have a look 🙂

   are aligned vertically for one sec and then become horizontal.. how can I fix
   that?

 * [@telugubulletin](https://wordpress.org/support/users/telugubulletin/),
 * the plugin’s JS and CSS are not loaded so the first thing to do is figure out
   what is interfering with the plugin. For starters try disabling other plugins
   until you figure out the cause.

 * Thanks for the tip.. Looks like Tablepress plugin is doing it. I deactivated
   it and now the stars look horizontal. But when you refresh (please refresh atleast
   2-3 times) the link the stars show vertical for a split second and then they
   become horizontal.. how can I fix that?

 * [@telugubulletin](https://wordpress.org/support/users/telugubulletin/),
 * maybe something like this will help:
 *     ```
       function add_style_to_head() {
           echo '
           <style type="text/css">
           .rating-stars ul > li.star {
             display: inline-block!important;
           }
           </style>';
       }

       add_action( 'wp_head', 'add_style_to_head' );
       ```
 * So that the style gets printed before other styles.
 * [@telugubulletin](https://wordpress.org/support/users/telugubulletin/),
 * Rate my Post and Tablepress are compatible. Compatible means that they don’t
   interfere with each other if they are both present on the website. Including
   the shortcode into Tablepress plugin hasn’t been tested, and to be honest I don’t
   understand why would you put the shortcode there 🙂
 * As for the “horizontal stars show with heavy padding between them for a split
   second” issue, you can fix it the same way as the star alignment – with custom
   CSS. If you have trouble with that, I recommend hiring a web developer. Sorry
   but, these small styling issues that are specific to your website are beyond
   the scope of support for this _free_ plugin 🙂
