Hide Title and Tagline in "Modularity Lite" theme?

  • I’ve looked all over the place for how to hide my site’s Title and Tagline, but none of them have worked for me. I have come to the conclusion that the CSS for “Modularity Lite” must be set out differently?

    (For example at http://purplecliff.com I want to hide the “PurpleCliff.com” and “Where nothing epic is excluded” text from the very top. But not completely delete it, so that it still shows in Google search etc)

    Any help MUCH appreciated.

  • Hi I use the modularity lite theme on thurnhamhall.com

    IF you got to the style.css file the sites title and tagline are descibed as

    /* Masthead */
    all i did to suppress the title and tagline was add the following line

    { display: none; }

    Here is how it appears in my site css file

    * Masthead */
    #masthead { display: none; }{
    float: left;
    height: 36px

    Hope this helps

    Pete
