    How can I hide the following text on the custom type page:

    March 1, 2017 Posted by:websitename Category:example

    You’ll have to modify the templates in your theme to remove that, or at least utilize some CSS to visually hide it. This is nothing that CPTUI itself touches.

    Personally, I’d end up copying the single.php and making a new file of single-{$post_type}.php and remove it in that. The {$post_type} portion of the file name is the slug of the actual post type in question. Say single-movie.php for a concrete example. This new file would be used first before single.php and thus you could remove the posted date and such safely.
