Hi @mailnew2ster,
Please keep reading wpDiscuz documentation. There are dozens of very useful options you should know to administrate your website comment system. Hiding the subscription bar is also described in the doc: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-documentation/settings/email-subscription/#subscription-bar
Hi @mailnew2ster,
Please navigate to Dashboard > Comments > Forms admin page, edit the Default form then disable subscription bar.
<!– copy and paste. Modify height and width if desired. –>
But it’s only the visual appearance, isn’t it? Can’t a user trigger a post request to subscribe anyway?
Actually that doesn’t sound that serious since there’s a confirmation email, but still…
Using the option described above disables subscription options.
Only one subscription option is left in this case. The “Subscribe to this comment” checkbox is available in comment forms. This also can be disabled by using according option in Comments > Settings > Subscriptions admin page.
There is no other way to subscribe to comments. I don’t know what are you talking about and why it should happen. If you disable something in wpDiscuz you can’t use it anymore. wpDiscuz options are not developed for visual tricks.
