Hide the Dashboard? Possible to change the default admin page when logging in?

I’m creating a site for people to have a simple admin area when logging in with Multisite, and for what I’m doing, the Dashboard isn’t needed. I have to have it there though, as hiding it stops the site from working when going to admin.

Is there a way I can change the default screen users see when they log into the admin, then I can hide the Dashboard and it will be simpler for my users to just get on with it and see only what they need.
