Hide tags in chateau

I use 3.4 on my ipad which is where I am now, but I mainly use my new 15″ MacBook Pro retina running mountain lion so I don’t know what version of WordPress I’m running there off hand. My blog uses Chateau and I’d like to hide all the tags from future and, if possible, past posts. I will say I’m confused about the lingo here in other posts I’ve seen about this question so please forgive me on that…,I am surprised I’ve gotten this far by blogging for three months and inserting media! LOL.
