Hide specific custom fields from users | WordPress.org

Hi there.

I have some users who have purchased Product A, and other users who have Product B.

Is it possible to hide a custom field based on what product they have?

For clarification, if a user has purchased product A, they can submit a request for extra changes on their product, but product B doesn’t allow such changes, so they shouldn’t see that field.

However, let me ask you: what e-commerce plugin you’re using to sell your products?

Thank you.

I’m currently using a membership plugin, so technically they are not products, but different membership levels, and each level gets specific services.

I’ll have to check out the capabilities of custom fields, I’m only a beginner programmer.

Alright. I wanted to recommend you one of our addons but we don’t have any for Membership plugins yet.

What I would suggest though is for you to wait for version 3.2 to be released. The custom fields system has been completely refactored and will be much simpler to use. The new version is planned for this week or the next one.
