 * I would like to be able to place events of my choosing on a ‘secret’ url, so
that only those who receive an invitation by mail can sign up for that specific
   event.
 * Or better still: it would be great if I could make it work like this:
    1. Create‘
hidden’ event on secret url, with, say, 20 available spaces. 2. Send invitations
to select group of people. 3. After, say, 10 people who have received invitations
have signed up, the event goes public (meaning that is is then automatically
shown on the events overview page).
 * Of course I would be thrilled if this functionality will be part of a future
release. But I would also be very happy to be pointed in the right direction (
short-code magic? Some additional plugin? Some PHP-editing?). I am a bit of a
programming noob I have to say, so it would be great if it’s possible to keep
   things simple.

 * That’s all possible – but not with this plugin.
 * What you need is a standalone script/plugin that changes the status of a post
from private to public once you you reach a preset number of registrants.
 * Happy to quote for the creation of this but it’s not something that I can add
   to the QEM.

 * Thanks for your answer. I guessed it was kind of complicated, but was hoping
there was an easy solution to it anyway :).
 * I’m afraid the site I’m building is not commercial (right now), so I have no
   budget to speak of.
 * Is there a way to place individual events on secret url’s though?

 * Not really, if you want to keep things private you can password protect them
but that’s probably not the best solution for you.

 * Okay. I’ll ponder about this a little more. Thanks for your help though!

 * Done pondering 🙂
 * I’ve looked into the password protect option. I reckon it could suit my needs,
if only it were impossible for non-logged in users to register for the password
   protected event.
 * See here for example: [http://www.la-gula.nl/event/327/](http://www.la-gula.nl/event/327/)
 * This event is password protected, but only the ‘event description’ is hidden
from view. Thus, non-logged in users can still register for the password protected
   event.
 * It would be great if there was a way to hide the registration form from view
instead. (For my purposes, it doesn’t really matter whether the event description
and other details are visible or not).

 * The version I’m working on has an option to only allow registered users to register.
 * If you send me an email via [http://quick-plugins.com/](http://quick-plugins.com/)
I’ll send you a copy to test.
