[Resolved] Hide 'Podcast Episode' box from certain posts in admin backend

    Amazing plugin, thanks!

I need to hide the plugin’s meta box from certain post types that should not support this. It seems the meta box is added to all post types.

I only want it to display on post edit pages, but not any of my custom post type edit pages. Ideally I would like to also only display the meta box on posts that are in my ‘podcasts’ category.

How can I control which post types or posts from a specific category display the podcast episode meta box? I’ve seen mentions of using Roles & Capabilities, but I want to hide the metabox on select posts and custom posts for *all* users. Thanks for any direction you can provide!

You need to enable “Podcast Channels”, then you can edit the default podcast channel and configure which custom post type the default podcast channel can be associated with. The option is in the last tab when editing the custom post type.

Not to add confusion, but you can also create additional custom podcast channels and map them to specific custom post types, it allows you to have podcast only feeds for your custom post types.
