• I have Options -Indexes directive in .htaccess, but as that only keeps people from browsing a known folder, it doesn’t keep them from [easily] discovering the name of the folder when they open a pdf in Chrome and IE. Firefox is less of a problem, since it pops up the dialog with option to open the file in a non-integrated reader which doesn’t reveal the server path.

    I tried this but it isn’t working.

    My mistake. I see that hovering over the path in the Foxit popup does reveal the full path. ugh…
