Hide page and menu

    Hi and sorry if this has been discussed but I did not find a solution in my search.

    I would like to make my site public but it’s not finished. I am handing out some cards at an event tomorrow and people will be visiting the site and i don’t want them to see unfinished pages. I just want them to see the home page and I don’t want them to see any menu.

    I want to keep working on the site and I am happy with it on the most part but I just need to basically hide the menu and ideally not have people stumble on pages that i am working on via google either. Any suggestions?

    Either unpublish those unfinished pages, or make them private. I THINK it is better to mark them private because if someone guesses the URL of an unpublished page, it may still show. Not sure.

    If you don’t want them to see the menu, don’t make a menu. And unpublish all pages that appear in the menu.
