I have a custom post type and in Classic Editor I was able to hide the ‘content’ area and display just a metabox. Now with Gutenberg I’d like to do the same, but it seems I can either disable Gutenberg or I’m stuck with the editor front and center. My custom post type only has a few options and expects the user not to be able to tamper/view/break the content of the post. How do I go about this with Gutenberg now?

Is it expected I convert my metabox into a block? Is there a way to default a block on my custom post type and disable adding/removing blocks?
