Hide main product description field in admin | WordPress.org

Hi

My store is only using the short description field for product info. I’ve managed to unset the tabs on the front end for the main description, but think in order to avoid confusing my client, that ideally the main product description field should also be hidden.

Can anyone advise on how to do this please?

Try the Add Admin CSS plugin, with this custom css:
```
div#post-body-content {display: none;}
```

Add this to your functions.php
```
function remove_product_editor() {
  remove_post_type_support( 'product', 'editor' );
}
add_action( 'init', 'remove_product_editor' );
```
