This is something that comes from YouTube and cannot be avoided. You could use Vimeo videos instead

Hi Ben, I appreciate your response.
I tried to add video background from Vimeo but it does not work, I added for example the url: https://vimeo.com/248072306 in Elementor and the video is not shown. I am doing something wrong?
Thank you
Sergio
Hi wordhem,
I just tested that vimeo in a test site and video shows up just fine?
Used Elementor and video element:

With the video widget if it works but as “background video” No. Can you tryLogoLogics?
Hi,
I tried it with that Vimeo video for background and that does not work eather in my test. However a YouTube video works as background video see:
https://logologics.nl/test/vimeo/
The description in Elementor, when adding a video background does say, “add a youTube video or preferably upload a mp4 video as a background”?
Maybe it is not vimeo compatible?

LogoLogics.
I now tried uploading a video ( https://pixabay.com/videos/ ) to my wordpress library, copied that upload link in a background row and that works like a charme:
https://pixabay.com/videos/
Ok seems on mobile it does not show the video at all, need to upload the “fall back” background image for that. Probably because it is not smart to use a rather large video file as a background on a small mobile screen…

Yes, with Vimeo as background video does not work, in the end I had to host the video on my own server 😉
