Hide “home” from navbar?

  • How can I hide the “home” navbar item? I thought this would be something a lot of people asked for, but I can’t seem to find anything on any of my searches.

  • Generally speaking, you can usually find the information you want to edit in the header.php file of the theme you are using.

    Again, very generally speaking, what you are looking for may be located under a div id of “nav” or “menu” depending on your theme, and resemble something like this;

    <li <?php if(is_home()){echo 'class="current_page_item"';}?>><a href="<?php echo get_option('home'); ?>/" title="Home">Home</a></li>

    Don’t forget to make a backup of any file you intend to experiment with, prior to actually changing it.

    Clayton,

    I must have convinced myself that I was going to find the answer in the get_list line. The solution was right under my nose. Thanks for the help.
