Hide Higher User role from Edit user page

  • Hi,

    How do I create a role which can view and edit user’s info who are below their capability ?

    For example, say I have following user role.
    Administrator -> Full Access
    Editor -> Can’t created / edit Administrator, full access for everything else
    Author-> Default WordPress Author Access
    User1-> Has access to certain content of site
    User-2> Has access to certain content of site

    What I want is to create a user role Asst.Editor who has access to edit user info of user1 and user2.So when Ass.Editor goes to dashboard > Users they should be able to see only User1 and USer2 list (rest of the user’s Administrator, Editor, Author and Ass.tEditor) should be hidden.

    Is this possible ? If yes how can I achieve this ?
