    @caitlincorrigan

    That’s a core WooCommerce (not Gift Wrapper) setting, available for every and any product you want. Go to your product editor and on the right side of the screen near the “Update” button you’ll see “catalog visibility.” Change that to “hidden” and update.

    The answer to this is also in the FAQ here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-gift-wrapper/#faq

    Hi @caitlincorrigan,

    I haven’t heard back from you here and so I am going to close this support request topic. We have been in touch by email. Thank you!

    Hi, I have the same question.
    I’d like to hide Gift Category, but with your
    indications you can hide the product, not the category. The problem is that in the Shop this category is showed, as a part of main menú. Could you help me? Thank you in advance

    Hello @emporiolanasol

    I don’t have enough information from you to understand why your WP installation (plugin or theme?) is adding all your shop categories indiscriminately to your menu. How is this happening, first of all? It’s not default behavior, so can you please explain how/why all the categories end up in your menu?

    You’re right, I need give you more information. First of all, I am using the Virtue free Theme by Kadence. When I try to personalize the theme,in the seccion Woocommerce I can choose the option for the Product Catalogue (which will be show as Shop), but here the possibility is select “product categories” without excepcion. Then my Shop is now showing the new category “Wrapper” that I invented for your pluggin. Finally, I must say that the pluggin worked perfectly.

    I think since Virtue free is showing all categories via its settings and templates, you’ll need to contact the theme developer or any WP developer for some code to exclude a category from this arrangement. Perhaps the theme developer has a filter hook available for use (to exclude the “Wrapper” cat). I cannot help with that, unfortunately, unless you wish to hire me separately (I’m a WP developer). Really, this is an issue with your theme, and not necessarily the Gift Wrapper plugin.

    It´s ok. Thanks you anyway.
