Hide featured image from posts in MH Magazine Lite

Hi folks, I’m trying to hide featured images from the posts of my site, built on MH Magazine Lite. I’ve found some CSS codes on the WP forum, even installed the Hide Featured Image plugin (and changed the mistaken php string), but none of this seemed to work.

Please help!
