Hide date under Page Title

  • I know how to disable date completely in index.php. What I really want is to leave date on posts, but hide on top of pages where I organize posts. Reason: it is always creation date of page, not the updates or the posts.

I had found a website with a plugin to turn dates off selectively, but it DID NOTHING, and comments/emails got no response.

  • posts are “organized” in the index.php, category-x.php archives.php etc.

If you want the date to be visible only when you’re looking at a single post, I suggest you remove the date code from all files where you find it, but leave it in the single.php. If you don’t have a single.php, then create it.
