    Hi,

Is there a way to remove the post date from SERPS? I use the Yoast Pluggin and I use set the meta info for dates in Yoast set to “hidden” but Google still pulls dates either from the theme or WordPress files.

I’m using a Child theme – is there code that I can add to the functions.php file or is there CSS I could add to avoid this?

I want to avoid people thinking that the post are outdated when they are not. I would like to do it for all posts and pages.

I hope it’s clear enough and that someone can help.

    Thanks
    Marine

The Yoast SEO date setting applies to the snippet preview you see on your post in the Yoast SEO meta box. This does not impact whether or not Google shows a date but, instead, allows you to adjust the snippet preview to match how Google handles your site.
