Hide date in meta description

    Hi,

    Recently i change my theme to Astra pro and i am using Yoast too.
    When i am writing Yoast meta description it shows date stamp in beginning of meta descriptions.
    Can you please advise how to hide the date in meta descriptions please?

    Hi @alivanrental !

    We understand you wanted to remove the data shown on the snippet preview. Starting with v14.7, we removed the option to hide/show the date as it was leading to confusion. So it now shows the date on the snippet preview all the time. This is because Google doesn’t follow the rules we had before and just shows the date whenever it wants to.

    That being said, even though you are currently seeing the date on the snippet preview, it doesn’t mean that Google will always show the date on the search results. Google shows the date based on the search terms and other factors and not because of our plugin. So it is best for everyone to see the date on the snippet preview just in case Google decides to show it on the search results.
