Hide COST and PROFIT columns for some user

    Hi,

    I’ve created a admin login with some restrictions for this user. I’ve hidden the columns COST and PROFIT from Screen Options but this user can easily tick them again, and I don’t want this.
    So is it possible to hide these 2 columns COST and PROFIT for this user ONLY or hide the Screen Options ONLY fir this user ?

    Hi Patrick,

    I hope you’re doing well, and I apologize for the delayed response.

    You can achieve this with the Pro version by setting restrictions for specific user roles. Check out this screenshot for setup instructions: View Setup Guide

    For your information, I already use the plugin Advanced Access Manager – Restricted Content, Users & Roles, Enhanced Security and More to hide a maximum from the column that I don’t want a user to see. It works well.

    In addition I must hide the COST and PROFIT from the PRODUCTS table (accessible from the left column) and also HIDE these 2 fields in SCREEN OPTIONS.
    So you seem to say that your PRO plugin does this ? Whats is the price ?
    Could I have a demo access to see this by myself ?

    Thanks I’ve seen your video. It hides the columns in PRODUCTS row by row.

    Does it hide these same fields in SCREEN OPTIONS at the very top, this to avoid the user to tick them and see the values in PRODUCTS row by row (I ask this because I didn’t see this in you demo video) .

    Sorry, in your demo sit, I’ve seen that the SCREEN OPTIONS tab is hidden. How did you do this , with your plugin ?

    You only need the Pro version, you can delete the free one and keep only the Pro active.

    The demo site is a special testing environment, so I’m not sure which one you’re referring to. You can follow the same setup steps shown in the video I shared with you.

    Hi, I have purchased the PRO version. If I delete the Free version and install the PRO one, will it keep the prices that are already filled by the merchant ?

    Hi Patrick,

    For best practices, here’s what I recommend:

    1. Take a full backup of your site
    2. Deactivate the free version
    3. Install and activate the Pro version
    4. You can then delete the free version if you want

    Always make sure to have a backup in such cases, as you know. Better safe than sorry!
