Hide "Cookie law info" in main menu of the dashboard

    Hi,

    First, thanks for your great plugin, Richard

    I would like to hide the direct link to the settings from the main menu (the leftmost and tall one with all the main options) of the Dashboard. I would like to access the settings only through the Plugins section clicking the “settings” link. Would that be possible?

    I agree, I’m not very happy with the position of the plugin on the dashboard and it’s something I’d like to change eventually. It’s been a while since I touched the codebase there but if I remember correctly the issue is that WordPress custom posts are given their own slot on the main dashboard menu so I simply tacked on the settings panel and most people seem to be ok with that (notable exceptions though as I’ve had a few comments since it was launched). That was nearly 2.5 years ago now hence my memory is a bit hazy. If you know of a solution I’d happily take a look.
