Hide contributor username

I have WordPress 3.5 and WPTouch 1.9.6. and when I click in to read a specific blog post, the WordPress contributor username displays at the top. I don’t want this to display. I looked in the settings, and there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to get rid of this.
