# Hide comments from unregistered users

 * I have a pretty active commenting community, and I’m looking to add some more
   functionality to my site. Is there a plugin or a way to hide comments from unregistered
   users and make them visible only upon a click? I know a few popular blogs such
   as [Gothamist](http://www.gothamist.com) and [Curbed](http://ny.curbed.com) do
   this, but those guys are running Movable Type and a proprietary system respectively.
   If there’s a way to do this in WordPress, I’d love to know how.

 * Changing the settings disallows comments from unregistered users. I just want
   to hide them with an option to make them visible to those who wish to see them.

 * hmmm…well it should be simple to hide the comments from unregistered users with
   a conditional, but that would totally hide them unless logged in, not so sure
   how to unhide them on click

 * I read somewhere about plugin slide to comment it puts a bar and visitors has
   to slide to end see if that is what you looking for.
