Hide comment form for posts in specific categories?

    Hi,
    Prior to WPDiscuz, it was easy for me to hide the comment form on specific categories where we wish not to invite comments, just using the in_category('name') wordpress hook. With WPDiscuz taking over the comment fields, that’s no longer readily available. Is there another way to disable comments by category? (I am speaking of single posts within a category, not the category archive page). Thank you!

    Dear miette,

    when you add new post there is option to Allow Comments on the post that you are adding you can do that
    1. by clicking in setting icon then>>
    2. then, select document under which>>
    3. Discussion heading have two sub-heading
    Allow comments
    allow pingbacks and trackbacks.

    by default allow comment option is not selected and no one can comment on post under whichever category they are.
