# Hide certain folders

 * Hello,
 * Is there a way to hide the /portfolio/ page so that if someone types [http://www.websitename.com/protfolio](http://www.websitename.com/protfolio)..
   It will result in a “no page found”?
 * Also is there a way to not let those portfolio items from being found in a search?
 * I am using the plugin call “Dave’s WordPress Live Search” for my website searching
   and the theme is movite.

 * I was thinking that, but that will disable any portfolio items from being used
   on the website. My intention is 1) to just hide the folder /portfolio and any
   recursive files 2) not have any items in that folder to be able to be searched.
