# Hide categories?

 * How can I hide categories from displaying? The situation is simple – I have to
   add a huge number of posts to my site, but they can’t be visible unless they 
   are all there.
 * They will be in one main category, with subcategories underneath it. So, I need
   to find a way to make those categories invisible to the people visiting the site,
   and when I am done adding the posts then I’ll just make everything public.

   ready?

 * The posts are not the problem, categories are. Sitemap, widgets etc. all use 
   categories and I need to find a way to prevent display of categories.
 * For instance, every site has a listing of categories. I need the new category
   to be omitted util I am ready to publish it.
