# Hide button doesn't work

 * When I go to my website [http://emmanueltenenbaum.com](http://emmanueltenenbaum.com)
   using IE 8.0 , the plugin works and I get the message, however I cannot click“
   hide”, nothing happens and I cannot access the website at all.
 * Any idea why is this ?
 * It’s a big issue because IE8 is the most used browser on PC in large corporations(
   unfortunately)

 * I’m sorry to say that I’m unable to replicate your issue on both Win XP with 
   IE 8 and Win 7 with IE 8.
 * The hide link/button works as expected for me.
 * If you updated from and earlier version of the plugin, have you tried to empty
   the browsers cache?

 * I will try tomorrow to empty the cache.

 * Today I quickly showed my website to a friend who uses Safari 4 on MacOs, and
   we experienced the same problem: could not click the Hide button.
 * It’s not a cache issue because she had never went on my website before…
 * Any idea?

 * I can confirm that with every outdated browser I use (Safari, IE, etc.) the hide
   button won’t leave.
 * When I click it, the url which was:
    [http://emmanueltenenbaum.com](http://emmanueltenenbaum.com)
 * becomes:
    [http://emmanueltenenbaum.com/#](http://emmanueltenenbaum.com/#)
 * and the pop-up stays.
 * It is unfortunately a blocking issue, so I have to disable your plugin until 
   I find a solution 🙁
 * Any idea why I get this problem ?

 * Hmm, this is strange, I have no issues with this myself.
 * But I will do some more testing and see if I can find any reason to this behavior.

 * I have been testing and trying but I can’t replicate your error with the “hide”
   link not working as it should. I’m sorry to say I’m out of ideas here. 🙁

 * Thanks anyway, I have made a few updates on my website, I will test your new 
   version and see if I still experience the issue
