 * feels like the wrong place to put adsense code – i assume it is not showing anywhere?
 * either add the adsense code to some of the template files, such as index.php,
   single.php. page.php, header.php, footer.php, etc.
 * consider using one of the adsense plugins, some of which might allow you to choose
   the pages where you want to show adsense.
