How about disabling backorders for those products?

This is how it would look on the front-end:

    Hi,

this option is not a solution for me. If i choose do not allow the variations can’t be display. I have variable product with different stock so i can sell one variation but not a another variation of the samed product.

    Thank you

. If i choose do not allow the variations can’t be display. I have variable product with different stock so i can sell one variation but not a another variation of the samed product.

You can choose the setting on a per-variation basis so that only those variations that are out of stock won’t be available for purchase

    Example:

    vairation

    stock

    Available

Basically, managing stock on a variation basis as opposed to the Variable product basis. Would that work for you?

    Hello,

i have just try it but the probleme is that the client can’t check an attribute that is for a variation product out of stock. In addition to this i have also product without stock that i don’t show in my shop. So if there is no possibility to hide the add to cart button for backorders i will see if there is another solution.

    Thank you

    Hey @bsaad,

The functionality of backorders is to allow customers to backorder products which will be coming into stock by adding those to cart and proceeding through the checkout process. This is why the Add To Cart button displays on backorder products.

There are also no settings or similar within the free WooCommerce plugin which would allow you to remove the Add To Cart button for backorder products.

Researching I found this free plugin below which claims to all for the removal of Add To Cart button on individual products and which may work for you.
