You can hide the title as well but its not what this plugin is for and that will only happen after some custom coding,
thanks for the correction. fixed on 0.9.6
Bainternet I am highly interested in “custom coding” to hide the title as well. I saw an older post by you here: http://goo.gl/UJpmv
In that post you said just “create a new instance of the plugin and use its filter function something like”
I have posted on 3 other message boards asking what this means and no one can understand it. How do you recreate a new instance of the plugin? You can only install it once.
Also 2 where would I paste that code information that you provided? Further still in the code it has comments to us about “you have a choice” does that mean that we should only paste one of those 2 codes in there?
If you could somehow provide a step by step process on how to do this it would be much appreciated. There are hundreds of people who would love this feature.
Thank you for your time. I sent you a message on twitter but maybe this message will reach you sooner.
If you read the example i posted there then you should have seen this lines:
//or you can create a new instance of the plugin class and let it use the same settings as the content on that page:
$limit_C = new bainternet_U_S_C();
Mind the
create a new instance of the plugin class
not the whole plugin, just the main class.
2nd the custom coding mentioned is not simple as do 1,2,3 and you are done, It means there is some coding to be done.
I understand that people would love that feature but that is not waht this plugin is for.
If you want you can contact me using my profile.
I think I see what you mean and I understand you state that this not what the plugin is for, however this type of plugin is in high demand and no one is servicing it. Your plugin does 99% of what everyone needs but hide the title.
Sounds like one awesome “new” plugin to me! 🙂
Just food for thought.
Your plugin does 99% of what everyone needs but hide the title
I agree, maybe you should consider this for a future release.
Cheers!
