I have a required field that shows ONLY IF a certain payment type is selected. However when I select the other payment type, checkout is not possible because of the error message which says that the required field is not filled out. How to make it required ONLY when showing? Or, make it required ONLY with that one payment method and not the other?

I have already tried to debug as follows:
– Deactivate plugins one by one checking each time.
– Switch to Storefront theme and test
– Disable any custom scripts you might have.

Hello @earth_human

Plugin does not have any feature that will allow to add condition on a payment method, so this will depend on how did you integrate the payment method to the checkout field.
Please let me know how did you integrate the payment method to the hidden custom field.

I can’t recall how I did that. Anyway I went with an easier solution following your tutorial and showing the dropdown questions for ALL payment types. End result isn’t as pretty but it works: https://quadlayers.com/add-custom-upload-field-in-woocommerce/
