hidden field no longer saving

    Since version 4.5.7 there was a change which meant that hidden meta box fields only output a predefined value from $field[‘std’].

    I’ve been using the hidden field to store a geocoded location from a map marker. This is now no longer saving.

    1. What was the reason for this change?
    2. Is there any way I can subclass the RWMB_Hidden_Field class in order to modify it to use the meta value instead of $field[‘std’]?
