# hidden code / text in wordpress footer

 * i had an issue with a ‘hidden’ text under the main footer…
 * there was a link to “PHPlist” site under the footage, but i couldnt find any 
   place where to edit it out…
 * under appearance editor, the footer.php contained a code and i removed it:
    <?
   php wp_footer();?>
 * but… wp default footer code is <?php get_footer();?> ??
 * any ideas where does the “wp_footer” code fetches it’s data? didnt find any text
   containig “phplist” in functions.php etc (under wp-includes)… (checked couple
   of them)

 * sorry, i think it was from this plugin:

   i still have that installed)
 * i used another one before and thought it left some code in somewhere…
    mailz –

   they kind of looked similar design and the link didnt go to webjunk.com…
 * i got the footer removed, so the text code is probably in the webjunk-phplist
   foler somewhere…
 * anyway… maybe someone knows a better mailinglist with subscription?:p
