    Hello,
Thanks for your work on this plugin, it’s really cool and I’m taking the opportunity to translate it to Brazilian Portuguese.

I would like to know how I can change the position of the place where the vote is located. I need to leave my tags above the vote, however, as it returns with the content, I can’t. Is it possible to use shortcode in this case?

My screen looks like this, I need to reverse the vote and the tags:

    Thanks 🙂

    Hi @roalvesrj

I assume that your Theme does not output the tags with the_content(), but fixes them under the content.

This can’t be changed, unless you edit your single.php and page.php in your WordPress theme.

This is a basic misunderstanding of WordPress Theme authors who don’t know that you can use the_content() filter.

You won’t get anywhere with a short code. But you can spend Helpful like this:

    <?php echo do_shortcode( '[helpful]' ); ?>

After that you have to disable the automatic addition of Heplful in the settings.

    Maybe this will help you.

    Hi @pixelbart

Thanks for the quick response. I will try to open a ticket with the theme developer to check the use of the filters. Now I am using the solution you gave and you are attending until you have something definitive. Thanks again!

A doubt, I realized that when voting the subsequent message is not displayed, it only appears if you reload the page. Is there any known solution or do I open a new ticket?

    regards

I haven’t heard anything about that yet. You can write to me here if you like.

You might want to share a link so I can take a look.

I was looking for the problem today and I identified that the problem was caused by me. I didn’t choose to use words on the answer buttons, and had put FontAwesome icons in “hardcode” and hovering over the buttons, somehow the icon didn’t let the button event rotate, but by clicking on the edges of the button, the click event ran normally. I resolved leaving the answer fields blank and placing the icons through a pseudo-class :: before. Now it worked perfectly.

An idea for future implementation is to put the option of using icons natively in the plugin.

Once again, thanks for developing this plugin and for responding quickly.

Soon I will be contributing with the plugin, sending the Brazilian Portuguese translation files

    Best regards.

I’m glad to hear that you’ve found a solution for yourself. You’re still welcome to share a link of yours with me so I can take a look at what you’ve done.

I find it easier to understand things when I see them. You can also share a picture if you don’t want to share your page.

Take your time with your translation. This is all free and there is no time pressure!! 🙂

But thank you very much for your enthusiasm!

    Hi @pixelbart

No problem sharing the link, I was developing on localhost yet. But you can check the solution here https://ajuda.provedorlivre.com/como-evitar-que-e-mails-sejam-taxados-como-spam/

Ps: The content is in Portuguese

Thank you. Helpful should now no longer cause problems when using icons as text.

    Thanks for your feedback!

PS: I didn’t know about the SMTP in the e-mails. Good to know that you are then classified as insecure!

    Hi @pixelbart

May I suggest an improvement for the plugin? It would be nice if you had the option to set the system date / time format, as in Settings> General WordPress. Thus facilitate long time to export the reports, there is no NEED to convert from Excel, for example. It’s possible?

Ah, today I finished all the translation and already made it available on the plugin translation page. Now is wait for someone review.

    Regards.

The problem with changing date formats is that then certain things won’t work anymore. This is not an Excel format, but the format from the database.

It is structured as follows: Y-m-d H:i:s

Most JavaScript plugins are not designed to change the date. Therefore, the format of the database is used uniformly everywhere. If I would take the format from the settings, some things would not work anymore. For example the range for statistics.

Thank you for your help with the translation. Did you let the Polyglots team know? They don’t check the translations on their own, you have to let them know.
