# help! wp-login.php error

 * I just installed wordpress onto my site to test out it’s capabilities. It was
   working fine untill, my web browser crashed while I was in the widgets section
   of the admin page.
 * now when I go back to the login page at the top of the screen I get an error 
   message reading:
 * “Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output 
   started at /home/content/s/c/a/scallion/html/blog/wp-includes/functions.php:2)
   in /home/content/s/c/a/scallion/html/blog/wp-login.php on line 12”
 * and if I attempt to login, it takes me to a page which displays the following
   errors:
 * “Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output 
   started at /home/content/s/c/a/scallion/html/blog/wp-includes/functions.php:2)
   in /home/content/s/c/a/scallion/html/blog/wp-login.php on line 12
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at /home/content/s/c/a/scallion/html/blog/wp-includes/functions.php:2) in /home/
   content/s/c/a/scallion/html/blog/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 369
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started

 * My knowledge of PHP is pretty basic so I don’t know what to do from here. Do 
   I have to start from scratch or is there a way to fix this?
