 * I’m installing WP for the first time so I’m still trying to figure out everything.
 * I’m trying to setup Widgets for the first time. I’ve added widgets to my sidebars,
but they aren’t showing up on my page and I can’t figure out why. I’m using Tiga
   1.0.2 theme that’s widget compatible.
 * The 2nd thing is that I wonder if someone can explain in more detail exactly
what they are talking about here. What do they mean exactly by posting a page?
Thanks for your help and time.
 * The ability to add a large public calendar is now available by posting a page
   and adding “[EventsCalendarLarge](http://codex.wordpress.org/EventsCalendarLarge)”
to the page content to create a stand alone calendar page.

 * When you add a widget, you have to use “add” on the left side, then “save changes”(
or something) on the right side and then edit the widget if needed.

 * A post is an entry on your blog, a page a static page for “about me” information
   or something.

 * Yes, like I said in my previous post, I already did that. I added the widgets
to my sidebars. If you want I can be more specific. I went to Design, Widgets,
Add, and Save Changes. It says the widgets have been saved that that they are
on my sidebars, but they aren’t there when you display the blog page. Thanks
   for the help.

 * Well, I downloaded a new theme and installed it and the widgets are showing up
on the blog sidebars now. But I have a new problem. I can’t edit the widgets,
so I can’t delete them from the sidebars or anything anymore. Can anyone tell
me what I can do so I don’t have to delete WordPress and start all over? Thank
   you!

 * I had some problems with widgets in my first 2.5 days, but not in 2.5.1. What
helped in the end, was to locate the widget files in the WP installation and
upload them again. There are (I believe) two widget.php files and two widget.
css files. It’s not a malfunction in WP at least, usually just a bad upgrade (
forgotten to delete old files, some files wasn’t transferred correctly, etc.).
There’re also quite a few threads about widgets in the forums with possible sollutions.
