Help with vigilance theme top banner image

  • Hi,

I can’t figure out how to get my image to display for the top banner. I’ve uploaded it into my media library but I’m lost after that. I need to change the URL or get it to a certain directory? Where should I be uploading from?

  • Check in control panel

Some themes have a customise header image link in the Appearance menu

This is what it says under ‘appearance’ then ‘vigilance options’

Set the Banner State to “Static Image” and upload your image to the /hermes/web07/b1527/moo.chrissyebryant/wp-content/themes/vigilance/images/top-banner/ directory.

I’ve uploaded the image under ‘media’ and it’s now in the ‘media library’ but I’m lost after that.

This Theme doesn’t appear to support core WordPress custom image header functionality.

You’ll need to follow the instruction:

Set the Banner State to “Static Image” and upload your image to the /hermes/web07/b1527/moo.chrissyebryant/wp-content/themes/vigilance/images/top-banner/ directory.

Note: you need to follow this instruction, rather than uploading the banner image via the Media Manager.
