 * I have set up attributes and also variations for size.
 * It works great, once user clicks on brand they are then taken to selected brand
with (variations size) drop down box (3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-8 years) and this
   is great and correct.
 * However I also want user to be able to shop by age, so if user doesn’t wish to
shop by brand they can click the age they want which takes them to all the brands
we have in the age customer selected, taking them to brands with just the age
selected and no drop down box (size variation).
 * I cannot work out how to do without it being a long process of adding product
linked to categories for each age and individually adding each brand relevant
to the size to that category via variations. Am I missing something obvious?
 * I have set up Angry Birds (under Shop By Character(on right)) which is an example
of a brand with size variations and is correct.
 * The Shop By Age is the one I cannot work out? Click on 12 – 18 months and it
takes to product-category/product-category-1/ (with a 404 because that page obviously
hasn’t been set up because I am not sure of best way to proceed.

 * That is an interesting one. If I’m right in thinking, you want to filter and
display only certain variables of a product as if it’s a Single Product.
 * As far as I know (please correct me if I’m wrong, anyone), I don’t think it possible
to do this. You’d have to put them in as Single Products and set the categories
and/or tags appropriately. That would then do away with the useful dropdowns
too, though. But i guess with the type of product, people would probably not
worry about that as they’d be very specific about what size they want?
 * I can’t see your site as it’s in maintenance mode, but you could tinker with
your template to display more products per page if that’s an issue.
 * How many items and how many variants of each would you have?

 * Me again.
 * This problem was bugging me, so I did a bit of digging.
 * Do you think this fits the bill?
