# help with uploading

 * Hi,
    im new to this. I try to upload plug ins and widgets etc to wordpress on
   the wordpress dashboard on my new website but when i click upload the page takes
   me to my website homepage. I dont get any error message or anything but the file
   hasnt uploaded?
 * i dont know whats happening but its been happening for ages now?

 * I go to my website admin which is [http://www.gembobs.com/wp-admin](http://www.gembobs.com/wp-admin)
 * then click on plugins, add new.
    i can try any plug in, i click install now and
   it takes me to this –

 * and then it hasnt uploaded or anything?

 * If you go to admin>plugins is the plugin you want in your list of plugins? If
   so maybe you just haven’t activated it yet.
