  • Hello:)

    I am tweaking the Twenty Ten Theme… I would be so greatful if someone could tell me how to move the logo/image I have inserted in place of the site title down… I would like it to be just above the header image, in line with the description on the right… When I inserted it, the page stretched up and placed it too high. Here is the link to the page and css for that area: THANK YOU! 🙂

    Don’t edit the Twenty Ten theme! Your changes will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress or the theme. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations.

    Oh yes… Thank you… I will get on that!!!

    buuuut, when I do, do you know how I would move this down?

    Add float:left' to:

    #site-title {
        background: url("") no-repeat;
        font-size: 100px;
        height: 125px;
        line-height: 20px;
        margin: 0 0 18px;
        width: 600px;

    in the child’s style.css file.

    I’m working on the Child Theme now… It will take me a bit… Once I have it finished I will make these changes. Thank you so much for your help and suggestion about the child theme.

    This is obviously my first WordPress attempt:)
