Help with Twenty Eleven Header

I’m using Twenty Eleven theme and Fancy Gallery plugin. When I open a thumbnail (in the first post on the blog or if the screen is scrolled up too far) the picture slides under the header and menu bar and it obscures the “close” button. I know that I can either click somewhere off the picture to close it or scroll down to reveal the entire picture and “close” button, but should I have to?

I’ve requested help twice from Fancy Gallery developer and posted to his support forum, but so far haven’t received any help suggestions.
