Help with timthumb

Hello guys,
i have a problema with my template that use timthumb to display featured image in home page. the image being displayed is the last that was uploaded. how to display the first image uploaded? I’m writing tutorials and did not want that the image of highlight was the same as the lesson content

can anyone help me? Thank!
